Regular application is advised to ensure the integrity of wooden decking. How to Use Deck Oil To effectively use Cuprinol Deck Oil, ensure the surface is clean and free from any previous finishes. Then, apply it evenly using a brush. Apply a second coat as needed once the initial layer has been absorbed, being sure to avoid pooling or puddling. Once applied, allow the preservative to dry fully - up to 6 hours depending on weather conditions. Reapply to maintain finish as needed.
