How to install Actis Boost-R Insulation Actis Boost-R is designed for use on the “cold” side of buildings, and is typically installed using battens and counter battens to hold the rolls in place. Designed to be applied horizontally in a continuous roll in most situations, cut around windows and doors with sharp scissors or craft knife. Install with an overlap finished with insulation tape to ensure an airtight finish. Easily secure to board or battens with a staple gun.
